The Barmaid by Unknown Gloria Hartman sat with her arms folded across her chest, trying to maintain a stern expression on her face. It was her thirtieth birthday, and, much to her chagrin, her boss and fellow employees had a huge cake and champagne to mark the occasion. Gloria was a beautiful woman who looked much younger than her real age, with waist-length jet-black heir, hazel eyes and a 35-24-38 figure. She was only 5 feet tall in her bare feet, and was well-liked by everyone. She was so popular, in fact, that her boss, Joe, had let go the other two barmaids who worked at his place; everyone wanted Gloria to wait on them! Joe, Dave the cook and all the regular customers, Hank, Nick, Phil, Adam, Jeff, Brandon, Jeremy and Kent were at the bar, serenading Gloria with "Happy Birthday." They then presented her with a beautiful 18K gold herringbone necklace, and took turns sharing a "birthday dance" with her. After they had eaten their cake, Dave teasingly suggested they give Gloria 30 punches in the arm to commemorate the day. Gloria laughed and playfully stuck her tongue out at him in retaliation. One man seated among them, a stranger, cleared his throat and said devilishly, "Hey, I got a better idea: Let's tickle her instead!" Everyone smiled as though a light bulb went on over his head and said, "Yeah!" This frightened Gloria to no end, because she was terribly ticklish! As a child, her older brother, Tommy, would always tickle her, and sometimes he'd enlist the help of his friends for a gang tickle! Gloria used to beg them not to tickle her, but, of course, they ignored her pleas and showed little, if any, mercy. She shuddered at the memory, and tried to remain calm. She tried to sound casual as she changed the topic to the NJ Gubernatorial race, but Dave said, "Oh no, missy, you're not that slick! C'mere!" He and the other guys walked slowly toward her, and she backed away right into the pool table! "Gotcha!" Nick chucked as he grabbed her waist. "Who wants her first?" he called out. "hey, let the new fella have her; it was his idea!" Hank remarked. "What's your name, pal?" he inquired. "George," the guy smiled wickedly. "Get her on the table and hold her down." Nick and Jeremy each grabbed an arm while Adam and Jeff each took hold of a leg and held her firmly. Gloria was wearing a tank top, short shorts and flipflops on this, her day off. George slowly pulled off the flipflops, adding more psychological torment for Gloria, wondering when the tickling would begin. She didn't have to wait any longer. George began tickling her left foot with the filtered end of an unlit cigarette! Gloria immediately began laughing. "Hahahahahahah! Stop! It tickles!" she sputtered, but George had just begun. He emptied his pack and used several on each foot, lightly dragging them up and down, causing Gloria to laugh harder with each ticklish stroke. "Please! Hahahahahahah! Stop tickling me! I can't take it! Hahahahahahahah!!" George then began wildy running all ten fingers in circular motions on Gloria's feet, and Gloria started to thrash on the pool table. "Awwww, Gloria is ticklish. Do you want me to stop tickling your feet, Gloria?" "YES!" she half-screamed, half-laughed. He stopped, and she lay there, still being held down by the four strong men. Suddenly, much to her horror, she saw george climb over her on the table, straddling her legs, and she gasped, "Please...not there!" but George dragged the unlit ciggie in little circles across her tummy, and she lost it! She began bucking up and down, her helpless shrieks of laughter filling the bar. "Ah! I think we've struck gold, gentlemen!" George exclaimed. "Give me a hand, Joe!" Joe and George proceeded to explore every square inch of Gloria's hyper-ticklish abdomen, causing her to rock the table. "Gloria," Joe cooed, " don't you like a little tickle? Kitchy kitchy coo! I see you!" The other guys were laughing and cheering the guys on, but were anxious to take their turns. Dave suggested, "Who needs turns! Let's ALL tickle her!" Then all the guys joined in, tickling Gloria EVERYWHERE. She screamed and laughed hysterically, unable to beg anymore. Her underarms, sides, belly, hips, thighs, knees, calves and feet were being tickled simultaneously, and her begs of mercy were now just piteous whimpering. She looked at George and said, "Why are you doing this to me?" George smiled as he dug his hands into the hip area and said, "Why don't you ask Valerie?" Valerie? Valerie! Valerie was one of the other girls Joe let go of, due to customer's demands of Gloria alone. She remembered she had mentioned a brother named George. Gloria was so weak she could do little but sob, so Joe ordered everyone to stop. "I'm sorry, hon," he said as he helped her to her feet. "I guess we got caried away. What can we do to make it up to you?" Gloria grinned weakly and pointed at George. "Vengeance!" |
